Tecky Brains Canada Social Impact is an educational initiative committed to digital inclusion, gender equity, and creative learning through design thinking and technology.

We believe in education through creativity, technology, and global challenges: from climate change and food security to equity and innovation, our programs empower participants to explore solutions for the real issues shaping our world.

 

In collaboration with libraries, community hubs, and organizations, we bring free workshops in coding, AI, and digital creativity to girls, boys, families, educators, and older adults — helping everyone find their place in tech.

Tecky Brains was born in Peru — and its impact has reached across Latin America. Recognized by Women in Tech LATAM, our work has empowered over 6,000 girls and 10,000 children through creativity and technology. Now, we’re bringing this movement to Canada.

Play-based tech workshops for boys and girls. From Scratch games to AI art — learning through fun and creativity.

Tecky Silver

Practical digital literacy sessions for seniors in friendly, accessible environments. Technology becomes a tool for connection and confidence.

Tecky Educator

Hands-on professional development for teachers with a focus on student-centered design, digital tools, and creativity in the classroom.

Tecky Global Challenges

Exploring science, creativity, and technology to address the world’s most pressing challenges. From climate change research and waste reduction projects to food security initiatives in urban and rural communities, participants develop innovative solutions that connect local action with global goals (SDGs).

  • Winner – Women in Tech LATAM Awards (2022)
    Global Finalist at the Women in Tech Global Awards (Dubai, 2022) — one of the world’s most prestigious recognitions for women-led innovation in tech.
  • Winner – ExcelGob Award for Gender Equity (2022)
    Awarded by the Red GEALC (Network of e-Government Authorities of Latin America and the Caribbean), with support from the Organization of American States (OAS) and Inter-American Development Bank (IDB).
    The Digital Girls Peru program — co-developed by Tecky Brains and the Presidency of the Council of Ministers of Peru (PCM) — was honored for advancing gender inclusion in STEM across the region.
  • Winner – Fundación Botín (Banco Santander, Spain, 2023)
    Awarded in partnership with Fundación Muyuy for the Libros ConCientes project — celebrating creative, community-led education across Latin America.

Tecky Girls
